Article brands IoM the land that feminism forgot
Abortion laws on the Island have come under the spotlight once again - this time in a UK newspaper.
An article in The Independent has called the Isle of Man 'the island that feminism forgot' whilst criticising what it brands 'vile' legislation currently in place on the issue.
The author of the piece (who's name has been changed to protect them) claims most locals know of someone who has travelled to the UK for a termination.
It follows recent pro-life and pro-choice groups holding meetings on the Island about reforms to the law.
