Curtain falls on Noel's career
The curtain has come down on the career of a familiar figure in Island entertainment.
Noel Quigley begins his retirement today (9 Jan) at the end of a 45-year working life with the Palace group, the Viking in Ramsey, Summerland and the Villa Marina where he was general manager.
He has booked some of the most memorable concerts and shows ever performed on the Island, meeting a wide range of artists and groups.
Mr Quigley who moved to the Island in 1970, has praised colleagues for their support.
He says his job in the Manx showbiz scene has been full of variety:
