
Port St Mary is without a commissioner’s clerk today after the man in the post parted company with the board.
Mark Cowin joined the local authority as its top officer around six months ago, when he replaced Jason Roberts.
The board as yet hasn’t revealed why Mr Cowin has left or when it hopes to appoint a replacement.
It’s understood Mr Cowin left the post last night.
