Drivers advised to use alternative routes
Laxey residents will be without a bridge again over the next fortnight.
The recently-restored landmark will be closed for a week from next Saturday (28 October - 5 November) for road resurfacing works.
Access to properties will be maintained, and motorists are being advised to use alternative routes for the duration.
Laxey Bridge was destroyed when a school bus plunged through it in severe flooding two years ago, and was the subject of a grand rebuild effort almost twelve months in the making.
