Hopes for engagement boost
Virtual planning meetings could still be used post lockdown as part of efforts to boost public engagement.
That’s the message from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture – it comes after Tynwald agreed to amend planning laws.
Meetings, which were previously required to be held in public, can now be run online using video applications which allow people to watch, listen and contribute.
