Wolverhampton man died in crash at Brandywell in July
The Coroner of Inquests has recorded a verdict of accidental death after a visiting biker died in a crash on the Mountain Road.
Luke Ogden from Wolverhampton lost his life in a collision at Brandywell on July 14th last year.
The court heard the 27-year-old died instantly after sliding under the wheels of an oncoming car, having lost control of his Suzuki at Brandywell.
The mechanical engineer's accident came less than 48 hours after another member of the group he was visiting with died in a crash at the same corner.
At the hearing, John Needham said there was no evidence to suggest Mr Ogden had been travelling at excessive speed, and that neither his bike nor the car he collided with had any defects.
It was Mr Ogden's first time visiting the Isle of Man, but the court was told he had familiarised himself with the Mountain Road, and that weather conditions were perfect on the day.
Mr Needham described Mr Ogden as a hard working man who loved his family, adding that it was tragic his life had been cut short.
