2016 passenger survey published
More people visited the Isle of Man in 2016 than the year before - but their visits were slightly shorter, and they spent less while here.
That snapshot from the final report of the 2016 Passenger Survey, published today by the Cabinet Office (17 Feb).
The survey shows a 1.7% increase in the number of visitors, which includes business and non-business trips, a total of 663,465 people.
The average length of stay last year fell slightly compared to 2015, from 5.5 nights to 5 nights.
Estimated total expenditure of visitors fell by just over £2 million to £106.6 million, with each visitor spending on average £363.
