The jury in the trial of former gymnastics coach Hal Volante has been sent home for the night, after spending the afternoon considering its verdicts.
Before they left the court, at lunchtime, Acting Deemster Sullivan told the jurors to base their deliberations solely on what they had heard in evidence, and to ignore anything picked up in the press or elsewhere.
Mr Volante denies eight charges of indecently assaulting seven young girls, aged ten to 15, and has said there was no sexual motive behind any of his actions.
