A key figure in Manx studies believes voters will look far more at the bigger picture in next month's general election.
Historically, Isle of Man elections are often determined by local as opposed to national issues.
But, with pressures from further afield, Dr Fenella Bazin thinks more constituents will consider wider factors this time around:
