An article about the Isle of Man's decision to lower the voting age to 16 appears in the latest edition of The Parliamentarian magazine.
It's been written by the Speaker of the House of Keys, Steve Rodan (pictured) and points out that the Island is one of the few jurisdictions in the democratic world to give the vote to 16 year olds.
He also makes reference to the historical and pioneering decision to give women the vote in 1881.
The publication is produced quarterly by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and boasts a distribution of more than 17,000.
