Seven people charged in relation to alleged voting irregularities in last year's House of Keys by-election in East Douglas are appearing in court today (Thursday).
Charles Lewin of Crosby faces six charges of conspiracy, as do Kerry Rothwell of Onchan and Catherine Liggins of Onchan.
Gail Corrin of Douglas faces three counts of conspiracy, and Marc Alan Bonser of Douglas faces one voting charge, three of conspiracy and six counts of forging documents with intent to deceive.
Andrew Callister, of Port Erin, is charged with eleven offences of forging documents with intent to deceive, and Mark Joseph Weir, of Willaston Crescent, is charged with two counts of forging documents with intent to deceive, and three of conspiracy.
A number of defendants are expected to enter pleas today.
They are due before Deemster Turner at 10am.
