Ashford wants social housing means testing brought in
Government has taken away the carrot but kept the stick when it comes to social housing rents.
That's the view of North Douglas MHK David Ashford.
He wants the most vulnerable tenants to be protected from rent increases through means testing.
Mr Ashford - a former Chairman for Housing on Douglas Council - says rent rises have to be put into context.
