Safeguarding chair says support 'can't just stop when someone turns 18'
There needs to be a strong package to help vulnerable young people transition into adulthood.
That's the view of the chair of the Independent Chair of the Island's Safeguarding Board Lesley Walker, who's been giving evidence to a Tynwald committee.
She told the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee there's a greater level of support offered to those under 18, which can make it difficult for vulnerable youngsters once they're classed as adults.
