MHK says coronavirus mustn't be used as excuse
An MHK says it's 'not good enough' for patients to be waiting more than two years for medical treatment.
Onchan member Julie Edge recently asked for the latest waiting list figures after being contacted by locals concerned over the length of time it takes to get an appointment in some clinics.
The number of people who've been waiting at least 12 months for inpatient and outpatient services has grown by almost a fifth since the start of the coronavirus outbreak.
Ms Edge says the pandemic shouldn't be used as an excuse:
