Fibre roll-out has left Manx Telecom short of resources, says CEO
Waiting times for broadband installations should start to come down next year.
Manx Telecom CEO Gary Lamb says the fibre roll-out project has left the company short of resources.
Some people have been waiting up to three months for broadband.
It's after a £1.4m bonus on top of the company's £10m contract from the Department of Infrastructure.
Mr Lamb says staff are now able to cope with the current demand:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
