Scheme to venture out of towns
Manx Sport and Recreation is taking to the wilds with plans for its Walk and Talk scheme to move away from the towns and into the Manx countryside.
New routes have been planned for the 'green' walk and talks during the summer months.
Lesley Patterson from MSR says Silverdale Glen, the Arboretum in St John's and the Curraghs are just some of the new spots included.
The walks cost £2 per person, per session and include refreshments - no pre-booking is required, simply the ability to cover two miles on relatively flat ground in 70 minutes or less.
A full programme of when and where the walks are is available via the government's website, for more information telephone Lesley on 686852 or email lesley.patterson@gov.im.
