
The military consultant for the feature film ‘War Horse’ - directed by Steven Spielberg – will speak at the Manx Museum this evening (Friday).
Andrew Robertshaw will present a lecture entitled 'The Real War Horses': at seven thirty.
The former curator of The Royal Logistic Corps Museum, he will examine the contribution made by horses, mules and donkeys to the British army's war effort on the Western Front.
That included horses taken from Douglas Corporation and the Steam Packet Company.
