Vandals have targeted a war memorial in Churchtown, Lezayre.
Those responsible broke a rifle off a statue of a soldier, before shattering it and throwing the pieces on the ground.
Ramsey police say it’s a mindless attack which shows a lack of respect for those who gave their lives fighting for their country.
They are appealing for anybody with any information to contact them on 812234 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
