A woman who came to the Isle of Man to visit her fiancée in an internment camp during World War II has been recalling her experiences.
Margaret Henrikson was on the Island at the weekend to see a show of artwork created by internees, at the Sayle Gallery.
She was classed as an enemy alien at the time, and says trying to arrange her wartime visit was extremely difficult.
She says there was a lot of mistrust for foreigners:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
