It looks as if a hundred thousand pounds could be spent on a new leisure facility for children at Noble's Park.
Douglas Corporation's Leisure Services Committee has added the sum to its capital programme for the 2009/2010 financial year, for the construction of a 'water feature.'
The committee decided six 'jumping jet nozzles' would be insufficient for the size of facility envisaged, and increased the proposed expenditure from £40,000 to £100,000.
However, it was noted the project would have to be put back a couple of years, because there was currently no funding available.
