A Manx businessman who plans to use a waterwheel to help provide his energy requirements, will be explaining more about his set-up to an audience in Douglas this afternoon (Wed March 11th)
Jim Kearns, of Jimbos Ice Cream in Silverdale near Ballasalla, is taking part in an energy efficiency seminar at the Claremont Hotel.
He says the role now played by the antique wheel in his business is largely fortuitous:
