AB Project says reusable water bottles are key to tackling plastic waste
Water refill stations at Noble's Park and the Grandstand have saved between 60-80,000 single-use plastic bottles being used over the fortnight.
AB Project provided five water sites for reusable bottles around the paddock this year in a bid to reduce the amount of rubbish created at TT.
Over 60,000 500ml refills had been dispensed by the end of last week, with that number expected to have risen over the weekend.
