According to recent calculations taken by Manx Utilities
Water demand is running around 15 percent above the 24 hour average according to the latest update from Manx Utilities.
The most recent calculation was taken on 11 August.
Meanwhile, the Island's four main service reservoirs are 76 percent full against the daily average figure of 82 percent.
The Clypse Reservoir in Onchan was showing as just 52 percent full.
This is because it's currently being drained ahead of work to replace a defective underwater valve.
Water from the Clypse is being channelled into the nearby Kerrowdhoo Reservoir.
Manx Utilities is reminding consumers to use water wisely.
