Arizona Devine Watterson will be sentenced today.
The 28-year-old Douglas woman was found guilty of the manslaughter of William 'Billy' Rogers on Tuesday, when she was also acquitted of his murder.
Acting Deemster Turner warned Watterson that she will be going to prison for a long time.
Mr Rogers died in March last year from a stab wound to the chest with a ceremonial dagger.
Watterson said they were playing a stabbing game and she didn't mean to harm him, but the manslaughter verdict showed the jury rejected that claim.
Time of sentencing: 9.30am.
