Politicians scrutinise government response to review of school funding
Politicians have been scrutinising government's response to an independent review of funding for schools.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has already ruled out one of the five recommendations made, which suggested closing eight 'inefficient' primary schools to save £3.6 million each year.
The department says it remains 'committed' to delivering the 'best possible' education system for children on the Island.
But Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover believes the public would rather see results than more reviews:
