Chairman says local authority will reserve judgement, for now
The chairman of Ramsey Commissioners says plans to build a marina in the town won't be discussed by the board until more detail has been revealed.
Two public lobbies have emerged within Ramsey; one for and one against the plans to construct a 400-berth yacht marina.
Andy Cowie says there are strengths and weaknesses in the views of both sides, but will reserve judgement before more comprehensive designs are put forward.
The local authority will be able to comment on any planning application submitted by the developer, and should an appeal process take place, they'll be automatically granted interested party status.
