Prof Ronald Barr discusses mobile phones in schools
'Deeply disturbing' abuse on social media in schools has led to teachers resigning and in some cases, even leaving the Island, a Tynwald committee has heard.
During discussions of the Education Bill at the Social Affairs Policy review committee this morning, questions on mobile phone policy in schools were raised.
According to education officials, positive feedback has been received by the department in this area following the most recent online consultation.
