
It looks like the abysmal summer weather was depressing for more than just farmers and gardeners.
July's passenger figures at the airport were down 1,700 on the same month last year, a drop of 2.8 per cent.
Just under 62,000 passengers passed through Ronaldsway during the period.
Airport director, Anne Reynolds, says it had been hoped the figures would at least match those from 2011 but the weather didn't help their cause.
