Gale force winds in the Irish Sea area are causing problems for the Steam Packet.
The 3pm Viking service to Liverpool was cancelled, when the weather became worse than originally forecast.
All passengers booked on the sailing have been switched to this evening's 7.45 Ben my Chree service to Heysham, from where foot passengers will be transferred by coach to Merseyside.
Today's 7pm Liverpool to Douglas sailing was also been cancelled.
