Tonight's Ben-my-Chree sailing from the Isle of Man to Heysham has been cancelled because of the weather.
A severe gale force nine wind is forecast for the Irish Sea.
All passengers due to travel this evening have been transferred onto tomorrow morning's 08.45 sailing.
Those due on the overnight crossing from Heysham will be booked on to the afternoon sailing tomorrow.
