Snow expected on higher ground
The Ronaldsway Met Office has downgraded a weather warning for ice and wintry showers overnight.
An Amber warning was in place until midday today - that's now yellow, in place until 10am tomorrow.
A few scattered wintry showers are expected, falling as snow over high ground but just sleet or rain at lower levels.
The Mountain Road, Tholt Y Will, Beinney Phott and Creg Ny Baa Back Road all remain closed until 4:30pm.
Gritters have been out last night and first thing this morning.
The last update from IOM Transport yesterday evening reported buses could not serve Snaefell & Tynwald Roads in the Willaston because of icy road conditions.
Services were diverting via Johnny Watterson Lane & Ballanard Road en route to Douglas.
Services were still operating through Willaston via Keppel Road to Hailwood Ave.
Manx Care says based on the current forecast, its services will operate as normal today.
