Water and slight debris is expected along exposed coasts
A yellow weather warning has been issued with large waves expected to hit some of the Island's coastal roads today (7 September).
The warning for coastal overtopping will kick in from 10am until 2pm.
The central parts of Douglas promenade, Castletown and Laxey promenade as well as Ramsey will be the areas worst affected.
Water and slight debris is expected along exposed coasts.
Forecasters say subsequent tides on Monday are also currently under review
Access to and from the beach will be available from points on either side of the sea wall.
