
A big thank you is being sent out to organisers of the Manx Grand Prix by a couple who were given a marshal escort on closed roads to their wedding reception at the weekend.
Richard and Brenda Collister were married on Saturday at Castle Rushen Registry Office and had to travel to the Swiss Chalet at Glen Helen for the function.
Friday's racing was postponed until the Saturday and, after a desperate appeal when the couple were stranded, marshals came to their rescue and let them through the course.
