Island singing sensation Sam Barks takes on the prestigious role of Sally Bowles in the award-winning musical Cabaret which opens at the Birmingham Rep tonight (Friday) ahead of a six month tour.
She’ll play opposite renowned dancer and TV favourite Wayne Sleep.
The Laxey teenager, who received rave reviews from judges as a finalist in the BBC series 'I’d Do Anything', says she’s thrilled to get the part – following in the footsteps of Liza Minelli who she met during the show:
