Four Petitions for the Redress of Grievance were presented at the recent open air sitting of Tynwald at St John's.
The procedure of petitioning parliament is an ancient cornerstone of Manx justice which some people may think a little old-fashioned in an age of arbitration, litigation, human rights awareness and official complaints procedures.
However, Speaker of the House of Keys, Steve Rodan, says the procedure is actually catching on elsewhere:

Warning over flare disposal after amenity site fire
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
Liverpool ferry terminal closed again this weekend
