A biker from Glen Vine was treated in hospital at the weekend, after a collision outside Union Mills Football Club.
The incident involved a motorcycle and a red Ford Focus, being driven by a Douglas woman.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or had trouble driving on the Ballaoates Road on Saturday evening because of the rain.
Anybody who can help is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212.
The accident happened at 6.30pm on Saturday.
