Force polls Twitter users on decision
Police are asking social media users whether they made the right decision during a lengthy traffic jam yesterday afternoon.
The main A1 Peel to Douglas road was closed for a number of hours due to a fallen tree.
During that time, diversions were put in place, and the Archallagan Road was temporarily made one way to ease congestion.
But the Constabulary has now taken to Twitter, polling residents on whether or not they considered it a helpful measure.
As it stands, just over half of those surveyed were in favour.
