The Island's own star of stage and television says she is overjoyed after landing the role of Epione in Cameron Mackintosh's Les Miserables.
Nineteen-year-old Sam Barks starts rehearsals later this month and will take her West End bow on June 21.
She is currently in Ireland filming for a new Disney TV series 'Groove High', in which she plays the lead female, a half animated and half live action part.
Sam says her break into TV, coupled with the Les Miserables offer, are a dream come true:
