Research from 2016 General Election shows clear split.
It seems those who live in the West of the Isle of Man are more likely to use their vote.
Research, that's been done as part of Manx Radio's election coverage this year, shows that in the 2016 General Election there was a clear Island split.

The author of the Isle of Man Population Atlas has mapped the figures and found, in the five western constituencies, there was a higher than average turnout while in all seven eastern ones turnout was below the 53 per cent average.
Paul Craine says the results were quite surprising but adds there's unlikely to be a simple answer to why this happened:
