It comes after criminal charges were brought against a former staff member
The Western Civic Amenity Site Board has issued a statement concerning criminal charges against a former senior staff member.
It says 'financial irregularities' were uncovered by site employees in March last year and the matter was immediately reported to police.
Michael Raphael Rose plead guilty to a charge of fraud by abuse of position at Douglas Courthouse on 30 January.
The matter has been adjourned to the 10 April.
In a statement the WCAS board says the site's management has undergone 'significant changes' since March 2025 to strengthen financial management procedures.
It says the Western Civic Amenity Site will continue to provide information, when required, to support the court proceedings.
