Pilot project due to be launched in February
Offering services ‘at the right time, in the right place’ is the aim of a pilot integrated care scheme, due to be launched in the west of the Island next February.
The project will see the Department of Health and Social Care work in partnership with private sector providers, the third sector and community groups.
Members of the team behind the initiative will be holding a drop-in event later this month, to gather views on how health and care could be delivered most effectively.
Team lead Paul Jackson says they particularly want to hear from those who have received support to keep themselves, or a relative, in the community.
The drop-in event takes place at the Peel Centenary Centre on Wednesday, 19 September, between 4pm and 8pm.
