The Westminster Coroner Dr Fiona Wilcox will be the guest speaker at this evening's (Fri) Caroline Weatherill Memorial Lecture.
Dr Wilcox is no stranger to the Isle of Man, having started her career as a house doctor at Nobles Hospital.
She's dealt with many high profile cases, including the recent "body in the bag " case where MI6 spy Gareth Williams was found zipped in a holdall in his flat.
Dr Wilcox says she's hoping to explain exactly what a Coroner is, what they do and why
The talk is at 6pm at the Claremont Hotel.
