Houses, office space and retail units among proposals
Detailed proposals to re-develop a major brownfield site in Westmoreland Road, Douglas could be submitted to planners in a matter of weeks.
That's according to Dane Harrop, the Managing Director of the Manx Development Corporation.
The so-called Westmoreland Village scheme includes provision for 133 dwellings in a mix of apartments and three-bedroomed town houses, 20,000 square feet of office space and a number of retail units.
Mr. Harrop says there's much work still to do:
