UK chain's already committed to retaining 1886's staff
Wetherspoons is looking to hire 120 new staff when it takes over 1886 next month.
That's on top of the current employees the UK chain's already committed to keeping on.
It's due to open 'The Conister Arms' on 14 May 2025.
In government's most recent unemployment report, catering and entertainment was one of the top three sectors with the highest numbers of vacancies on the Island.
Wetherspoons is trying to attract staff in all areas and there'll be an open day on Friday to find out more.
It'll be at Markwell House between 9am-1pm or you can email jobs@1886bars.com for more information.
