Important habitat under threat worldwide
There's a wetlands walk at the Curraghs Wildlife Park today.
It's being led by John Dog Callister to celebrate "World Wetlands Day" which was on Friday.
The annual event aims to highlight the importance of these unique habitats and the pressure they're under around the globe.
On the Isle of Man the wetlands at the Sulby Curraghs is a designated RAMSAR site.
John says whilst it's early in the season for a walk there's always something of interest . .
The walk is at 2pm. Those interested should meet by the cafe in the Wildlife Park and wear good walking shoes or wellingtons.
