
A union representative says he's unsure about wage rates which are to be offered by a new shipping company.
The Ellan Vannin Line plans to have a freight service up and running by October, with a passenger service due to follow in time for TT next year.
Captain Kurt Buchholz, the man behind the firm, presented his plans at a public meeting on Friday.
One of those who attended was Chris Bowen, who's chief officer on the Ben-my-Chree and liaison officer for the union Nautilus.
He told Manx Radio wages are a concern:
