Haywood questions validity of review into funding of Island schools
An MHK's asking why government spent money on a report if it's going to ignore the recommendations it makes.
It's after Tynwald approved the Department of Education's response to an independent review of funding for schools.
It made five recommendations, including closing eight of the Island's most 'inefficient' primary schools - something the department insists it will not be doing.
While Rushen member Michelle Haywood's welcomed that decision, it's left her questioning the report's validity:
