The Isle of Man's economy will continue to diversify and new industries should emerge in 2013.
That's according to Member of the Legislative Council with responsibility for Department of Economic Development Tony Wild, who says finance is a cornerstone of the Island's economy but other areas are equally as important.
The MLC says companies continue to have an interest in what the Island has to offer and there are some exciting projects in the pipeline
Mr Wild highlights some the industries he hopes will develop this year:
Several sailings at risk or cancelled due to adverse weather
Glencrutchery Road to close to northbound traffic
MHK's shock over Hospice announcement
Baldrine Methodist Hall is not being sold by church
Sulby Straight closure in place this weekend
