'Great mum' Acorn also had twins last year
The Island's wildlife sanctuary has welcomed two new residents recently, as its lemus Acorn has given birth to twins.
The Curraghs Wildlife Park says the ring-tailed lemur and 'great mum' also had twins last year.
Staff say lemur numbers are low in the wild, with more now in wildlife parks and zoos.
They say there's reckoned to be as little as 2,000 around the world, with a 90 per cent drop in the last ten to 15 years.
