The sums claimed by each member of Tynwald in mileage allowances could soon be made known on a regular basis.
In the House of Keys and Legislative Council on Tuesday, members will consider a report from the Joint Committee of Tynwald on the Emoluments of Certain Public Servants.
It calls for the routine publication of on-Island mileage information on the Tynwald website.
If the recommendation is approved, it's understood the proposal would be implemented as soon as possible.
